Scottish Country and Highland Dancing
This year, as ever, we will be treated to many fine displays of Scottish Country Dancing and Scottish Highland Dancing, under the auspices of the Tokyo Scottish Bluebell Club. The Scottish Bluebell Club is affiliated to the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) and has some 70 members with 7 certificated teachers. A regular weekly class is held at the Sunplaza in Nakano, on Friday evenings, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. The Bluebells also has a Highland Dance Department, which is the only Highland Dancing class in Japan under the guidance of the Scottish Dance Teachers' Alliance.
There are classes every Saturday afternoon at the Sunplaza in Nakano.
